DAY 1 : BOROBUDUR - PRAMBANAN (L)

Transfer from your hotel to Denpasar airport for a flight to Yogyakarta where you will be met by our guide for your sighseeing tour.

Experience the constant bustle of Javanese life as you head for Borobudur Temple approximately 90 minutes drive to the north of City of Yogya. Dating from the 8th century, this huge Buddhist Temple consist of six concentric outer terraces and three circular terraces above them.

Its walls are sculptured in bas relief extending over 6 kms in length. With its lush mountain backdrop this must surely rank among the world´s most impressive sites.

A visit is also included to the 9th century Hindu Temple complex at Prambanan. Largely in ruins yet still with fine. Overnight at hotel

DAY 2 : SULTAN PALACE - BATIK FACTORY

After breakfast an additional tour of the artistic city of Yogyakarta. Visitthe Sultan´s Palace, seat of java´s most powerful royal family (closed on Monday), a factory producing Java´s finest batik and a centre where the famous Wayang Kulit leather puppets are painstaking crafted by hand.

Transfer back to the airport for your returnflight to Bali
